So, the WIP has Chinese characters and elements...

I've been doing research for the story, keeping notes in OneNote (the BEST program EVER for writing!), such as Traditional Chinese houses, layouts, decorations, and I found Chinese Bridal Beds.

I've seen them before and I've ALWAYS wanted one. I'm showing my daughter the pictures as I'm saving a few of the ones I like best to put in my story's misc page in OneNote.

These are my favorite ones. Click to enlarge, of course.

But this one...THIS ONE...has to be the most beautiful of all! I'm telling you, my jaw dropped when I came across this one. Chen Jian is SOOOOO having this bed on QiTian!

This bed is made entirely from carved jade. Isn't this GORGEOUS?!?

Those are incredible! They certainly don't make beds like that here in the states.

I don't think they even make them now...

There are ways to reproduce the look, of course...I know when and if I ever get to own my own home, I'm having a faux wall built into the bedroom, to make it look like a built in bridal bed nook.

My Honey-Do list grows by leaps and bounds with every story I research. LOL.
