Just a little something I wrote a few years ago.

Innocence Lost: Transposition

My eyes were closed, and yet I was still blinded by the intensity of you. I could feel your presence, your hands touching my bruises, smearing the blood from my open wounds. I could smell your scent when I inhaled sharp breaths of agony. Even with my eyes closed, I could see YOU. Your whole being was encompassing, consuming, drawing me in, drawing you in, consuming you.

You entered me. I felt you moving through me like a disease, creating havoc, creating pain, creating pleasure. Your darkness was my darkness. My darkness was yours. You cried out in pleasure, I screamed in agonizing torture.

I rolled over onto hands and knees, vomiting blood and blackness, purging myself of you, giving birth to you.

Your hate covered me, painted my world black with brilliant strokes of crimson. You embraced me, my memory, my shadow. You tore at the walls of my trust, of my illusions, and rebuilt them with deception. You tore at my self preservation, rebuilt it with submission.

You bound me to you, blinded me with your darkness.

You transposed yourself over me. I see me in your face. I see you in my face.

I am not who I was.
